Spend a restful hour floating downstream at a leisurely pace on a 30 ft bamboo raft. Your
captain will describe the flora and fauna along the way.
This is an activity for any age. You will find it as restful as gondoliering in Venice.

Some captains like to decorate their rafts up for your enjoyment. This captain has cut some wild ginger flowers for his raft.

Technically, this is a red-billed streamer tail. It is our national bird. We, however, call them Dr. Birds because the long streamer tail on the males look like the split tailed coat the doctors wore back in the 18th century

If you want a walk about, to see even more bird species, Fritz or Oliver, who run the attraction, will take you for a walk. We see dozens of species, Jamaican Orioles, Patou, woodpecker, all kinds of finches, doves and in the winter, several visiting species.
