Although most people don't think about going caving while on a tropical Island, it really is a fun experience.
Travel up through Jamaica's very own ALPS and learn about the yam (a bit different from the yam you are used to, the largest one grown last year was 700 pounds) and banana farming in the region. A local guide will take us through the cave and cook a bush lunch afterward.

Three different caves of various levels of challenge await you. If you are squeamish about getting wet and muddy, you might prefer the Barbeque Bottom hike. If you are feeling macho you can climb down ropes, slog through chest high rivers and generally feel like one of the old-time explorers.

Working your way through Cold Spring Cave is beautiful and exciting. The upper part is dry with lots of growing stalactites and stalagmites. The lower part is wet. We swim through an underground lake and wade the length of an underground stream

After the river, we climb a rope back to the upper level and exit the cave
Take a swim in a swift flowing stream to wash off the mud and bring clean clothes to wear home (otherwise, I make you run behind the van, 'cuz you are too dirty to allow on my nice upholstery). This day is pure fun!!!!!
