Visit the most authentic of the 18th century plantation houses. This one belonged to the cousins of the famous poetess, ELIZABETH BARRETT-BROWNING. View their own furnishings, musical instruments, letters and other personal effects.
Stand on the windswept front porch and see the 180-degree curve of the earth.
Everything is as it was in the Barrett's time. Bob and Ann Betton, the owners have kept it just so. Even an early photo of the family ghost is displayed.
A very early version of a record player. This form of making music has been replaced by your iPod or iPad....
An old fire pump sits on the back veranda. Fire fighting has come a long way since the Barrett's time.
