    The creative genius behind Great Huts is, Dr. Paul Rhodes. He is in love with both Jamaica and Africa and wished to display our Afro-Jamaican heritage in a beautifully graphic manner.

    Eclectic furnishings, painstakingly chosen and commissioned from local artisans give a sense of fantasy to the various tree houses and huts around the property. Each is a new surprise as you come upon it's hidden beauty. each new find causes gasps of admiration for the creativity of it's designer. Imagine relaxing in the jacuzzi above on it's private cliff face looking out on the very bluest water imaginable.







    African Sunrise tree house on the left is just one type of dwelling. Choosing which one you want to stay in is almost impossible. They are all different and all irresistible














    You can spend the day walking the plank into the sea, looking for shells in a tidal pool, reading a book in a shady hammoch or swimming, surfing or snorkelling in a glorious bay. The Original Boston Bay Jerk Stand for the best jerk chicken and pork on the island is just a few metres away from the front gate. Other beaches, waterfalls, hiking. mountains, the blue lagoon and the quaint town of Port Antonio are all easily accessible.
